Denise Nichols

As a former registered nurse, Denise has a passion for learning and uses that knowledge to help those in need. She feels it’s important that people in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual support are equipped with healthy life skills. Over the years, Denise has volunteered in various capacities, including her son’s school and sports teams, church youth leadership, women's ministries, an outdoor adventure group, and a certified women’s lay counselor.

Her most cherished memories include visiting communities in developing countries and learning how best to lend a hand. After returning from one of these trips, Denise and a small group of women began an organization called Frontline for Justice, whose sole purpose was to bring awareness and support for human trafficking prevention (at a time when most were unaware of the issue). 

Denise volunteers at RealLife Lake Chelan church and is an avid reader, snow skier, golfer, and gardener. Neese especially enjoys adventuring, talking about gardening and cooking, and hanging out with her husband, family, and friends. But if asked, she would probably tell you her happy place is puttering around in the quiet of her vegetable garden.
