A Year-End Fundraiser for Lake Chelan Community Center
CHELAN, WA — With a new parking lot in place and construction nearing completion on its gymnasium and performing arts space, Lake Chelan Community Center is inviting the community to celebrate what generosity has made possible — and help keep it thriving.
“Celebrate, Participate, & Donate!” is The Community Center’s year-end fundraising campaign, encouraging residents, businesses, and organizations to recognize the progress, plan their next gathering, and support the daily work that keeps the facility welcoming and active.
“Our community’s generosity is becoming something people can see, experience, and share,” said Kyla Allen, Executive Director of Lake Chelan Community Center. “This season, we’re inviting everyone to celebrate that progress, picture their next gathering here, and help us keep this place ready for the people who count on it.”
Celebrate What We’ve Built Together
The Community Center’s banquet room and meeting spaces are already hosting gatherings, celebrations, and conversations. The gymnasium and performing arts space will expand those possibilities, creating room for athletics, live performances, and larger community events.
Residents are encouraged to watch for construction updates and an invitation to get a first look at the new space.
Participate by Bringing People Together
As families, businesses, and community groups make plans for 2027, The Community Center invites them to explore its modern, well-equipped rental spaces.
From birthdays and quinceañeras to company retreats, conferences, and recurring group meetings, rentals bring people together while helping support the facility’s ongoing operation.
Donate to Keep This Place Thriving
Year-end contributions support the everyday work behind every gathering, from maintaining the facility to helping visitors and event hosts feel at home.
“Building The Community Center has taken extraordinary generosity, and caring for it is an ongoing commitment,” said Brooke Isaak, President of the Seven Acres Foundation Board of Directors. “Every gift and every gathering helps keep that investment working for our valley — bringing people together today and creating opportunities for tomorrow.”
Supporters can contribute through one-time or recurring donations, grants from donor-advised funds, gifts of stock, or eligible gifts from retirement accounts. Estate beneficiary designations and naming opportunities offer additional ways to leave a lasting legacy.
