FInal Days to Double Every Dollar for The Lake Chelan Community Center
CHELAN, WA — With fewer than two weeks left in its year-end giving campaign, The Community Center is calling on supporters across the Chelan Valley and beyond to act now and help close the final gap in a $2 million matching opportunity generously provided by the Turner family.
So far, the community has raised approximately $1.3 million, an extraordinary demonstration of generosity and belief in The Community Center’s mission. With about $700,000 still to be raised, there is a powerful opportunity—right now—to ensure that every available matching dollar is fully realized..
“This matching opportunity was created to inspire participation and momentum,” said Brooke Isaak, President of the Seven Acres Foundation Board. “Every gift made before the deadline is matched dollar for dollar, up to $2 million. The closer we get to closing the gap, the more of that generosity we are able to put to work for our community.”
The Turner family’s gift was designed to amplify the community's collective generosity, ensuring that each contribution—large or small—has twice the impact. As the campaign enters its final days, leaders emphasize that timing matters.
“The Community Center exists to bring people together,” Isaak added. “This is a moment when our shared effort can make a lasting difference for families, kids, seniors, and neighbors throughout the valley.”
Supporters have many ways to participate, including:
