Seven Acres Foundation Announces Executive Director Transition at Lake Chelan Community Center
Board expresses appreciation for Maribel Cruz’s leadership, appoints Brooke Isaak as Interim Executive Director, and begins search for the organization’s next leader.
The Seven Acres Foundation Board of Directors, the organization responsible for overseeing the construction and operation of the Lake Chelan Community Center (LCCC), today announced that Executive Director Maribel Cruz has informed the Board of her decision to resign.
The Board extends its sincere appreciation to Maribel for her leadership and dedication during a pivotal chapter in The Community Center’s history. Her contributions helped guide the project from construction through the successful launch of operations, creating a strong foundation for the future.
“Maribel’s vision, dedication, and steady leadership have helped shape The Community Center into the thriving community asset it is today,” said Brooke Isaak, President of the Seven Acres Foundation Board of Directors. “On behalf of the Board, we are incredibly grateful for her years of service and the strong foundation she has helped build. We wish her nothing but success as she begins this next chapter.”

As the Lake Chelan Community Center continues to grow and evolve, the Board has refined the Executive Director position to reflect the needs of a mature, operating community center serving more than 44,000 square feet of community, commercial, and event space. The updated role is intended to build on the strong operational foundation established over the past several years while leading The Community Center through its next phase of growth.
Brooke Isaak has been appointed Interim Executive Director and will lead the organization while the Board searches for its next Executive Director.
“The Community Center has entered an exciting new phase,” Isaak said. “We remain focused on completing our remaining construction projects while continuing to expand programs, strengthen partnerships, and maximize the impact of this extraordinary community resource.”
